This year Governor Bill Lee, his wife Maria Lee, many Metro Nashville Police Officers and Davidson County Sheriff’s Deputies, and other charities joined in the drive-thru book parade held on Tuesday, March 2, […] December 9, 2020 Christmas Party Assistance League® of Nashville members gathered via Zoom, of course, to celebrate the Holidays. Chatting among friends and sharing the joy and laughter of the season, we were all delighted to spend time reflecting on ALN’s accomplishments and planning new goals for the upcoming year 2021. December 1, 2020 Winter Warm-up Winter Warm-Up is an Assistance League® of Nashville program which provides NEW coats to Pre-K, elementary, middle and high school students and community centers in the Nashville Metro system. Distributing 4,210 new winter coats since 2014. 500 warm coats were distributed December 11, 2020. We love doing this!! She was among the 45 “charter members” who decided to form the first Assistance League chapter in Tennessee. Of those original 45 members, 13 are still chapter members today!
